英國女王駕崩！當天澳洲8歲小女孩收到「生前最後一封信」

英國女王伊麗莎白二世（Elizabeth II）辭世，世界各地紛紛表示哀悼。但就在同一天，遠在澳洲的8歲小女孩奧莉薇亞（Olivia Akers）收到了女王的回信，並且為此雀躍不已。母親娜塔莉（Natalie Akers）也說，這可能是女王生前所寫的最後一批信件。
8歲的奧莉薇亞曾在6月時寄出一封信給英國女王，她附上自己參加變裝比賽時，打扮成女王出席閱兵典禮的照片，奧莉薇亞身穿軍裝，騎在寵物馬「女士」（Lady）背上，看起來非常開心。
奧莉薇亞也在信中寫道，自己非常喜歡女王今年初與兒童繪本角色柏靈頓熊（Paddington Bear）合體，拍攝登基70周年白金禧（Platinum Jubilee）的宣傳影片，還詢問女王是否真如影片情節與台詞一樣，喜歡吃果醬三明治。
奧莉薇亞還寫到，希望女王能喜歡她的照片，她的馬鞍來自英國，小馬的名字是「女士」（Lady），牠是一匹澳大利亞小馬，奧莉薇亞還好奇的詢問女王有幾匹馬？
娜塔莉接受《澳洲廣播公司》採訪時說，女兒在6月寄信後，不斷詢問是否收到回覆，她得知女王駕崩時，還以為孩子恐怕要失望了，沒想到郵局的職員告訴她，「你有一封非常非常特別的信」，她拿到信後，立刻趕到奧莉薇亞的學校給女兒看。
這封來自巴爾莫勒爾城堡 （Balmoral Castle）的回信，是由女王透過貼身侍女安娜貝爾·懷特黑德（Annabel Whitehead）代筆，她很感謝奧利薇亞來信祝福，女王對這張照片很感興趣，得知小女孩也喜歡騎馬，她「很感動」，信末標註日期是8月25日，也就是女王駕崩2周前。
娜塔莉說，這件事簡直是太美好了，「這可能是她所寫的最後一批信件之一，這個時機非常偶然，我相信奧莉薇亞會在餘生好好珍惜這封信。」
